The Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) at SEED DC is a schoolwide framework that provides structured, data-driven interventions to meet the diverse academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of our scholars.

MTSS operates on three tiers of support:

  • Tier 1: High-quality, research-based instruction and schoolwide practices that serve all students.

  • Tier 2: Targeted interventions for students who need additional support to meet academic or behavioral expectations.

  • Tier 3: Intensive, individualized interventions for students requiring the highest level of support.

Through MTSS, SEED DC ensures that every scholar has access to the right level of intervention at the right time. This approach promotes early identification, continuous progress monitoring, and collaborative problem-solving between teachers, families, and support staff.
