The SEED School of Washington, D.C. has set the following criteria for enrollment:
Scholar must be entering the 9th grade for the 2019-2020 academic year;
Scholar must have successfully completed the 8th grade;
Scholar and parent/guardians must be DC residents and able to prove the same with specific documentation;
Scholars and their families must apply through My School DC - DC’s Common Lottery.
If you would like to submit a waiting list application for the 2018-2019 school year, you may apply on My School DC. Families will be notified as space becomes available. Once accepted off of the waiting list, families have 48 hours to accept their offer and submit enrollment documents to SEED DC to secure their child’s seat.
Families are important to SEED DC. SEED DC strives to keep households together for ease of parent/school relationships, transportation, school calendar logistics, etc. With this in mind, enrollment preference is given to siblings of any scholar who is attending SEED DC and who submits an enrollment application by the designated deadline. A separate application must be completed for each sibling.
A sibling is defined as a biological or legally adopted brother or sister, as well as stepbrothers, stepsisters, or foster children residing full-time in the same household as the current SEED DC scholar.
