A college education should be the norm—not the exception.
The SEED School of Washington D.C. provides an outstanding, intensive educational program that prepares children, both academically and socially, for success in college and beyond.
Watch Head of School Dr. Keith Hinderlie Smith's welcome message to join us
in celebrating the start of an amazing year of accomplishments ahead!
Dear SEED DC Families,
As we begin a new school year, I want to extend a warm welcome to both our returning families and those joining us for the first time. It is a true honor to serve as your new Head of School, and I am excited to partner with you in supporting our scholars.
At SEED DC, every student matters, every student belongs, and every student is valued. This is not just our belief—it is our daily commitment. Together, we will continue building a safe, supportive, and challenging environment where our students can thrive both academically and personally.
SEED DC has a proud legacy of preparing students for success beyond high school—whether in college, careers, or leadership in their communities. I look forward to continuing that tradition while working closely with you to ensure that every scholar is prepared for the opportunities and challenges ahead.
Thank you for trusting us with your children. I look forward to seeing you on campus, connecting with you in the weeks ahead, and sharing in the exciting journey of the year to come.
With gratitude and anticipation,
Dr. Keith Hinderlie Smith
Interim Head of School
